Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later made heads turn when she was a part of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Although her acting abilities have come under scrutiny, she is without a doubt capable of executing every role she's been in. In the course of a couple of years and a few films, she finally got her break when Bunny was made a part of The Big Lebowski. Her career began with this film and she began to receive higher offers from films such as Urban Legend or Cruel Intentions. But it is American Pie the cult movie about teenagers and sexual encounters which established Reid as a promising face on the horizon in Hollywood due to her character as virgin Vicky. It was all a waste of time. Reid was a misfire with films like Josie and the Pussycats. She did get a role on the set of American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this was not enough to help her slumping career. Her offscreen mishaps, well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery as well as her numerous flash-and-miss appearances have turned her into the party goer or designer, rather than an actress.
